Need help with Health Surveillance?

Unity works with the employers to assess what Health Surveillance is required in line with Statutory Legislation and the relevant HSE guidance. We are conscious that time away from work for employees undergoing health surveillance is costly to the employer so we work with the employer to reduce disruption and time loss with a bespoke on-site programme to provide a quality legislative compliant service.

Reports and writeen advice is provided to both the employer and employee and appropriate referrals to allied health care professionals are made where appropriate.

• Respiratory Sensitisers Surveillance (for workers exposed to fumes, solvents, isocyanates, etc)
• Noise Induced Hearing Loss (for workers exposed to noise levels in line with HSE recommendations)
• Skin Surveillance (for workers in contact with solvents, cleaning fluids, etc, that may cause irritation to skin)
• Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) (for employees operating high power vibrating tools)
• Musculo Skeletal Screening (for employees whose work is manual or repetitive)
• Night Worker Medicals (for workers who regularly work night shifts that are covered by legislation requiring annual health checks)
